Introduction of Department

The Department of the political Science was established at the same time as the college was established in 2000. Political Science is one of the Best department among all.  Political Science is social study concerned the allocation and transfer of power in decision making, the roles and system of governance including governments and international organization, Political Behavior and Political policies. Political Science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics. Political Science is the study of politics and power form domestic, international and comparative perspective. It entails understanding political ideas, ideologies, institutions, policies, processes and behavior as well as groups, classes, government, diplomacy, law strategy and war.

Goals of the department

1. The acquisition of specialized knowledge on the field of political science.
2. The development of general skills that will serve students regardless of their future course of study or employment.
3. Become acquainted with each of the four subfields within the discipline: American politics; comparative politics’ political theory; international relations.
4. Demonstrate advanced knowledge in; and understanding of, one of the subfields within the discipline.
5. Be familiar with place of political Science within the broader spectrum of the social sciences and history.
6. Understand the central role of racial diversity and hierarchy in shaping the state, national politics, international relations, and the discipline of political science itself.

Aim and Objective of the Department

1. To create awareness in poor and needy students about the education.
2. To create scientific attitude in the students.
3. To prepare students as responsible citizens of India.
4. To provide the current trends in political science in India and other countries.
5. To upgrade their knowledge in the political science through journal and seminar.
6. To introduce the students the basic concept in political science.
7. To enable the students to apply political concept, terms and theories in everyday life.

जनविकास महाविद्यालयातील राज्यशास्त्र विभागाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी  दि.०३.०१.२०२२ रोजी केज येथील तहसील कार्यालयामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांची भेट. यात स्पर्धा परीक्षा मार्गदर्शन, विविध शासकीय योजना व समाज विकासाच्या योजना,प्रशासकीय कामकाज यासंदर्भात माहिती घेतली.

जनविकास महाविद्यालयातील व्यवसाय मार्गदर्शन विभागामार्फत विद्यार्थ्यांनी दि. ११.०२.२०२२ रोजी बनसारोळा येथील बन्सी काळे यांच्या शेतामध्ये स्ट्रॉबेरी शेतीला भेट दिली .विद्यार्थ्यांना आधुनिक शेतीचे ज्ञान मिळावे, शेती क्षेत्रात व्यवसायाच्या संधी उपल्ब्ध व्हाव्यात म्हणुन ही भेट  आयोजित केली होती.
