Honorable Secretary of Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur Dr. Babasaheb M. Gore dreamt to offer higher education to the needy, poor and downtrodden students belonging to rural area. The efforts of the management are sincere and honest in this regards. The management has approved to setup the first institution of higher education Janvikas Mahavidyalaya, Bansarola in 2000 to impart education to the students from nearby rural area. It is the honest initiative of the management to provide higher education to the poor and socio-economically backward students in general and girl students in particular. The mission of the institution is fulfilled by offering quality education which meets not only the academic aspirations of the students but also prepares them for a happy, healthy and wealthy life. Under graduate courses are particularly important for building the strong foundation that the students need for facing the challenges and make their future glorious. The rapidly changing times, technologies and growing aspirations among the youth demand that the higher education institutions should make sincere efforts to cope with the changing scenario.
Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur’s Janvikas Mahavidyalaya, Bansarola is happy to respond to this call of duty with utmost sincerity and commitment. We have planned and executed student centric activities to enhance the quality of higher education. In today’s globalized era, one cannot survive without adopting a change. Change has become vital and especially the field of education is no exception to this. We have been accepting and implementing the new trends in teaching and learning process sincerely.
Our college is accredited for Cycle-I in 2011. The college welcomes the NAAC Reaccreditation process with open arms as it provides a great opportunity for the college to critically evaluate itself and take decisive steps towards continuous improvement in quality and achievement of excellence.The college has been making consistent progress in recent years by raising the students’ strength and by striving for consistent improvement in the performance of the students. The college tries to bring out the economically poor and backward students in the main stream of the society. The college is dedicated to the women empowerment through integrated education.It aims at meeting the higher educational needs of the girls from the rural areas.
Our teaching and non-teaching staff is sincere and always ready to accept suggestions and adapt to changing environment. Teachers are encouraged to go for innovative practices to make learning more students centric.

A Few Words about the College :
Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur has started Janvikas Mahavidyalaya, Bansarola in the year 2000.It was the fulfilment of the dream of Dr. Babasaheb M. Gore, Hon’ble secretary of Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur who had dreamt the dream of providing higher education to the rural masses under the umbrella of Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur. The Mandal was established in 1999 with the mission of providing education to economically and socially backward students from rural area. The college is located in rural area surrounded by around 35 to 40 remote villages. Bansarola is a small village in Kaij Taluka where students from 35 to 40 villages come for higher learning. Most of them are the first generation learners. The college is affiliated to and recognized by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
The college offers Undergraduate Educational Programmes in Arts, Commerce and Science faculties respectively. Krishnai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur has provided a specious building accommodating Classrooms, Office, and Laboratories, of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography. The Institution has also constructed Women’s hostel, Indoor sports facility and Gymnasium. We have well-furnished Library with automation facility and a spacious reading room.
Janvikas Mahavidyalaya, Bansarola engages continuously in improving the quality of the academic programs and creates unique environment contributing to the overall development of students. The college has well equipped computer lab having 30 computers. ‘Remedial Coaching Cell’ and ‘Career and Counseling Cell’ try to shape the future of students. Students are guided for Competitive examinations.
The Facilities are continuously enhanced and updated as per latest trends and requirements. So for the college has successfully arranged University Level inter collegiate Sporting competitions such as Chess, Shuttle Badminton and Wrestling events. Our wrestlers even participated in inter-university wrestling competitions. Our students have got rewards for their outstanding performances in inter-collegiate youth festivals. The department of NSS has successfully arranged District level Youth camps and Leadership camps. Our students have brought glory to our educational efforts by their outstanding performance in the university examinations. Our students emerged successful in essay writing competition and elocution competition at district and state levels. The Management runs this College with Arts, Commerce and Science streams.
